Topic: Maps, Cross-Sections and Geological Insights of Col. Charles Whittlesey (1808-1886), Northern Ohio’s First Engineering Geologist and Staunch Advocate of a Devonian Age for the Cleveland Shale
Dinner: Prior to the talk, an informal dinner is planned for those interested at 5:30 p.m. at Piñatas Mexican Restaurant, 11611 Euclid Ave. Cleveland. If you plan to attend dinner please RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday Dec. 7th so we can have an approximate count of the people planning to attend dinner. Free parking is usually available in front or back of the restaurant but in a pinch there is a lot behind the food store (2-hr parking) a short block to the west.
Parking : Parking for the talk should be available in the top CMNH parking lot off Wade Oval, BUT, if it is filled up you may also park on the street OR in the UPPER part of the back Museum lot. If you do use the upper back lot call 3261 from the phone down a little set of stairs for entry thru the back door. If you park in the top lot bring your ticket to the meeting.
